About Me

My photo
As the resident artist at EcoHealth, I pen verse inspired by the specter of future pandemics; for my dissertation at Amerika-Institut of LMU München, where I edit a weekly circular on poetry, I'm anatomizing the prosody of E. A. Robinson's sonnets—I also teach English, tutor composition, and lead a literary circle.

to Laura

When I consider how our time has sped,

I am amazed at all that we have done
both bridges fared and those we dared not tread
throughout this threefold circling of the Sun.

Yet not for this I come to you, whose bed

I share and where, my love, I thank the one
who gave me peace, revived my muse, and led
my soul to grace through touch and hearth and fun.
